Privacy & cookies

A clear explanation of what Visit Gaudí measures, why we measure it and the choices you control.

Who is responsible?

VisitGaudi.com is an independent travel guide operated by Skreenz Travel Media B.V. in the Netherlands. For privacy questions or requests, email marco@skreenz.nl.

What we collect

You can use the website without creating an account or giving us your name. Our hosting providers may process limited technical information, such as an IP address, browser information, requested page, time and security logs, to deliver and protect the website.

  • Your cookie choice, stored locally in your browser for up to 180 days.
  • Website usage and campaign information only when you accept analytics.
  • The page, landmark and seller connected to an affiliate-ticket click when analytics is accepted.

Optional analytics

With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and use Visit Gaudí. This may include page views, approximate location, device and browser information, campaign parameters and ticket-link interactions. Google may process this information under its own terms and privacy safeguards.

Analytics does not load until you select “Accept optional services”. Refusing has no effect on access to the website.

Affiliate links and Tiqets

Some links lead to Tiqets or another third-party seller. We may receive a commission when you book after using one of these links, at no additional cost to you. The embedded Tiqets availability calendar loads only after you accept optional services. If you open an external seller page, that provider receives the information technically necessary to serve its page and applies its own privacy and cookie policy. Visit Gaudí does not receive your payment details.

Why we process information

We rely on your consent for optional analytics and advertising measurement. We use necessary technical information to provide and secure the website and to investigate errors or abuse. You may withdraw analytics consent at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer.

Sharing, transfers and retention

Information may be processed by service providers that support hosting, security, analytics and affiliate functionality. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area and are responsible for applying the safeguards required for those transfers.

We keep information only for as long as needed for the purposes above. Your consent choice expires after 180 days. Analytics and technical-log retention follow the configured retention periods of the relevant service, after which information is deleted or aggregated.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. You may also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority or your local supervisory authority. Contact marco@skreenz.nl to exercise a privacy right.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when our website, providers or legal obligations change. The current revision date appears at the top of this page.
